game scenario

WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.)

It is for people, ages 12 to 18. No prior knowledge needed.

WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific!)

Our game will teach people about many different types of terrorist attacks including agricultural, biological, bombings, and shootings.

WHERE does your game happen?

Describe the world you will design for your game.

How will this setting add to the learning experience? It takes place in a few different places. A farm, an airport, a mail sorting facility, and in a big city.

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? How to be safe from terrorism.

What happens in the world that helps the player learn?

Our game helps the player learn by using modern, state of the art equipment to prevent incidents of terrorism.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? When you just look at other people’s game or play’ them.

WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz?

Because with a quiz you need to know the info but with this game you learn while having fun.
